CPPCC Vice-Chairman Meets Japanese Delegation

Sun Fuling, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met Saturday with a delegation from Japan's Tour of China Practice Committee led by Shiranishi Shinichiro, chairman of the Executive Council of the Japan-China Society.

The Japanese delegation is here for the 2000 Tour of China Beijing International Road Cycling Race.

During the meeting, Sun praised the efforts made by the two countries to promote sports exchanges between younger generation, and hoped that such exchanges will continue to grow in the years ahead.
