China Telecom's Donation to Chinese Olympic Delegation
The China Telecom Group Friday donated 500,000 yuan to the Chinese athletes delegation to the 27th Sydney Olympic Games.
The company also donated 200,000 and 150,000 yuan worth of Yitong IP calling cards to the Chinese athletes and journalists to the games, respectively.
The calling cards are specially designed and issued to commemorate the Sydney Olympic Games.
Officials from the China Telecom, the State General Administration of Sports, representatives of Chinese athletes and journalists took part in the ceremony at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
