Cai added, the closed-training was divided into two stages. The ping-pong players used the first week to adjust their bodies since some of them just finished playing in tournaments in America and Brazil. The team began their closed training in the second week.

This training was used to prepare for the upcoming Olympics, so it focused on simulation the Olympic tournament. They researched heavily on the opponents they might meet.
