NE China Ready for International Education Exhibition

Officials with the Jilin Provincial Department of Education said Thursday that everything is ready for the upcoming International Education Exhibition.

Organizers said the exhibition with eight exhibit sections, will start on September 8 in Changchun, capital of the northeastern province. So far, 168 schools and educational institutions from the United States, Britain, France, Canada, Germany, Australia, Japan, and 66 domestic schools have registered for the exhibition.

Around 20 multimedia and education software developers such as Intel and Microsoft from the United States, NTT from Japan, and Orient from China will display their products at the IT and software exhibit section as well.

The four-day exhibition is to push cooperation in education both at home and abroad by intensifying students and working staff exchanges, launching more short-term vocational training programs and seminars on education and accelerating the transfer of information in high technology and educational facilities.
