School Students to Use Revised TextbooksThe teaching materials for Chinese primary and middle school students are being revised by the Ministry of Education.The reform includes compilation of new subject standards and teaching books, which is undergoing now, and the revision of current teaching outlines and books in high schools and compulsory education. Revisions for outlines and books of seven subjects in high schools will put into use since this September in the country's 10 provinces and cities. And revised outlines of 16 subjects in compulsory education and books of major courses in primary grades will also put into use since September 1 in the whole country. The revised teaching materials reduced fussy and outdated contents and what is hard to understand for students. |
