Large Stone Forest Found In Central China

A large section of stone forest was recently discovered in the western part of Hubei Province in central China and opened to visitors earlier this month.

The stone forest is located in Taiyanghe Township, Shi'en of Hubei Province. It occupies a total land area of about 10 square kilometers.

All the stones are grotesque in shape, and some look like flying dragons and angry tigers, while others look like blooming flowers, a local source said.

The source said that the best thing for the stones is that they are in the middle of a real forest and the "trees, grasses and flowers make the stones even more beautiful."

According to Chen Xiaoping, a famous expert on tourism, the newly discovered stone forest is good enough to become an international tourist attraction.
