Beijing Sports Teachers College Renamed Capital Sports College
With the approval the Ministry of Education, Beijing Sports Teachers College will be renamed Capital Sports College. Jia Qinglin, member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of Beijing Municipal Party Committee, and Li Zhijian, secretary of Leading Party Group of State Physical Culture and Sports Commission, unveiled Capital Sports College's new sign August 30.
After being renamed, Capital Sports College will be used as a cradle for training sports teachers, a base for competitive athletes, sports science research center and the fitness center for everyone. Capital Sports College will center on training five types of students: high quality sports instructors, athletes, sports science research talents, managers to oversee the fitness of everyone and managers in the sports industry.
