Qingdao Sets Up Ocean Circumfluence Research Center
A joint research center on ocean circumfluence and climate changes was recently set up in east China's coastal city of Qingdao, the location of most China's oceanography research institutes.
The research on ocean circumfluence has a lot to do with changes in climate and ecological changes in the ocean, and has significant meaning for the future of mankind, experts say.
The new research center was jointly sponsored by a number of China's most prestigious ocean research institutes and two US research bodies.
