Chile is interested in developing relations with China in wider fields, not only in economy but also in politics and culture, said Chilean Senate President Andres Zaldivar on Monday.
Zaldivar made the statement during his meeting with the delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) headed by Li Tieying, member of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the CPC and President of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
Li appreciated the development of bilateral relations since the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and Chile in 1970.
