Machinery and electrical appliances were among the leading imported items of Beijing during the first seven months. The imports value registered an increase of 30.5 percent in the period to reach 2.94 billion US dollars, making up 79.7 percent of Beijing's overall imports value. Imports by foreign-funded enterprises reached 2.62 billion US dollars in the seven months, accounting for 71.2 percent of the total imports volume in Beijing. |
