Edmund Ho Hau Wah, chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), said Monday that his coming visit to Singapore will promote the bilateral cooperation in various sectors between them.
In particular, Macao and Singapore will strengthen cooperation in tourism and information, the chief executive said at a send-off gathering by major officials of the Macao SAR.
The chief executive is scheduled to leave for Singapore Tuesday morning via Hong Kong. He will attend the opening ceremony of Macao Tourism Promotion Week Tuesday evening.
During his visit, he will meet with Singapore Prime Minister Goh Chok Tong and Senior Minister Lee Kuan Yew.
