China Takes Fourth in World Volleyball Grand Prix

The Chinese women's volleyball team lost to Brazil 1:3 in the semifinals of the World Volleyball Grand Prix in Manila, Philippines August 27 and took home fourth place. Cuba defeated Russia 3:1 to win the championship and US$150,000.

China defeated Brazil 25:12 in the first match but then lost 25:13, 25:19 and 25:18.
