CPC Delegation leaves for Latin AmericaA delegation of the Communist Party of China (CPC) headed by Li Tieying, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and president of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), left Friday on a goodwill visit to Chile, Colombia and Cuba.The delegation is making the trip at the invitation of the Socialist Party of Chile, the Conservative Party of Colombia, and the Communist Party of Cuba. Li's entourage includes Li Chengren, a deputy head of International Department of the CPC Central Committee, and Sun Gan, a deputy secretary of CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee. |
