New Genome Researchers Badly Needed in China

The Beijing Huada Gene Research Center under the Genetics Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) has lately kicked off a new project shortly after completing its 100th sequence examination work of human genome.

Following launch of a series of large projects as "pig genome", "rice genome" and "Chinese human genome", we have decided to woo new genome researchers throughout China, said Dr Yang Huanming put in charge of the center.

People are told personnel with expertise as of biological information, computer, molecular biology and precision instrument repair are badly needed by the center. Of these, four leading vacancies still remain for eligible doctors in molecular biology. With these four in need are also masters or bachelors in relevant majors for 30-odd positions. New graduates eligible will still be hoped to present themselves to fill these job vacancies.
