Typhoon Bilis Hits Fujian ProvinceTyphoon Bilis landed in Jinjiang City of Fujian Province, east China, at 10:30 Wednesday morning, bringing strong gusts and heavy rainfall.All the three airports and expressways in the coastal province were forced to close and the local railway line between Fuzhou and Mawei was temporarily blocked due to a big number of fallen tress. Ferry service has also been suspended. Meteorologists say Typhoon Bilis will continue to move westward into bordering Jiangxi Province. |
