China's Cotton Supply Expected to Surpass Demand This Year
China's cotton supply will continue to surpass demand this year as its output is predicted to reach 382.7 million kilograms.
Sources with the All-China Federation of Supply and Marketing said that cotton crops across the country are growing well. The federation is expected to purchase 273 million kg this year, accounting for 71.3 percent of the total output.
Experts predicted that the country's cotton purchase price will stand around 430 yuan per 50 kg.
