Taiwan Entrepreneurs to Attend Trade Fair in Xinjiang
More than 100 entrepreneurs in Taiwan will come to the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region to attend the 2000 Cross-Straits Economic and Investment Fair scheduled to begin September 1, an official said Wednesday.
The fair, organized by the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, aims to promote economic and trade cooperation between Xinjiang and Taiwan at a time when the central government is implementing the strategy to develop the western regions.
