Xiamen on Alert Against Typhoon Bilis
Xiamen observatory issued Tuesday a warning against typhoon Bilis, which is forecast to hit the central and southern parts of east China's Fujian Province around noon of August 23.
At 8:00 pm Monday, the center of typhoon Bilis was located at 19 degrees 7 minutes north latitude, and 126 degrees 1 minute east longitude.
The typhoon was moving northwest-west at a speed of 21-25 km per hour.
The local observatory said that starting tonight, Xiamen will be hit storms.
