Chinese Press Corps of Olympic Games Formed

The Chinese press corps of Olympic Games which consists of 200 journalists was set up in Beijing on August 21.

The 27th Summer Olympic Games is scheduled to be opened in Sydney of Australia on September 15. By then, delegations from 199 countries and regions will attend and about 15,000 journalists are expected to cover the Games. Therefore, the Olympic Games is not only a grant meeting of sports, but also a battle of news.

Chinese journalists to report on this Games include reporters, photographers, video and radio broadcasters. and come from central and local presses.
