Cuba Wins Women's Volleyball Grand Prix Yuxi Leg

World champion Cuba continued their winning streak by beating Chinese team 3-0 for the title of the women's volleyball Grand Prix Yuxi leg on Sunday.

The Cuban team enjoyed an obvious advantage in spiking and blocking, winning the match 25-20, 25-20, 25-21.

Earlier in the tournament, the Cuban team beat Japan 3-0 and defeated the United States 3-1.

In the other match played on Sunday, the United States beat Japan 3-1 (21-25, 25-14, 25-17, 25-21) to finish second. China ranked third with a 1-2 win-loss record while winless Japan finished fourth.

The four teams will move to the Philippines to join Brazil, Russia, Italy and South Korea in the Grand Prix finals.
