China, Cuba Win in Women's Volleyball Grand Prix

Hosts China and world champions Cuba beat Japan and the United States on the second day of the Yuxi women's volleyball Grand Prix on Saturday.

The Chinese team, which were upset by the Americans on Friday, dominated their match against the smaller Japanese team, winning in straight sets. The set scores were 25-15, 25-18 and 25-23.

In the other match played on Saturday, Cuba again showed their strength, beating the United States 25-15, 25-23, 23-25, 25-17.

On Sunday, China will take on Cuba while Japan face United States in the last round of the tournament.
