China's Qinghua beat Britain's Cambridge in a university boat challenge at the Kunyu River in Beijing on Sunday.
The eightsome from Qinghua clocked 6 minutes 45.50 seconds to beat their counterparts whose time was 6^ The race was the first boat challenge between the two most famous universities from China and Britain. The event was also designed to greet the one-year countdown to the 21st World University Games to be held next year.
