Sino-Japanese Dual Boxing Match Held in Xi'an

The first Chinese-Japanese dual boxing match is to be held in the ancient city of Xi'an in early September. West Japanese Boxing Union coming on invitation will compete with the Chinese National Boxing Team and Shaanxi Boxing Team.

The match, organized by the Boxing Center of State Sports Administration, Shaanxi Sports Office and Xi'an Qinshi Boxing Club, includes eight classes-48 kg, 51 kg, 54 kg, 57 kg, 60 kg, 63.5 kg, 67 kg and 71 kg.

Because the time for the boxing match clashes that of the coming Olympic Games, three players qualified for the Games will not participate in the dual meet.
