Italy Lazio Club: Set Up A Base in Miquan
After the Inter Milan opened the first soccer school in Qingdao, Lazio, another powerful Italy club, came to China and opened the Chaoneng Lazio Asian Soccer School in cooperation with Guangdong Chaoneng Group in Miquan, Xinjiang Uygor Autonomous Region.
Former coach of Italy youth team, also the present director of Lazio club, said when talking about opening a soccer school in China that as the only club listed in the market in football industry in Italy, Lazio has a strong economic basis and historical fortune. The large Asian football markets should not be neglected, especially China, which contains and keeps on expanding large markets of football talents and industry.
He said, besides himself, technical adviser of the school, the Lazio club will send some Italy coaches of national level to China.
When talking about the base in Miquan, he said that large numbers of football talents are hidden in nine million minority population in Xinjiang Uygor Autonomous Region. Their physical qualities and football mentalities are as good as European players.
He also said that he is satisfied with the international bilingual school and the training base in Miquan. The students can train in Miquan in the summer and move to Huizhou, Guangdong in the winter. This advantage is a lure for any club.
