Winners of China's 1998-1999 Culture News Awards Announced
The Ministry of Culture Wednesday announced winners of China's "Culture News Awards" for 1998-1999.
Among more than 130 news pieces submitted by news organizations across China, 10 have been rated as the best ones, with Class Two and Class Three awards given to 15 and 21 news pieces respectively.
Started in 1991, the "Culture News Awards" has played an important role in inspiring the country's news professionals to work even harder, the ministry says.
