Returned Overseas Chinese Students Set Up Enterprises In Xi'an
Returned overseas Chinese students have set up businesses in a hi-tech zone in the capital city of Xi'an in mid-west China's Shaanxi province.
The central government's campaign to develop the country's western regions has attracted many overseas Chinese students who have returned home after completing their studies.
Over 150 returned students have established some 50 enterprises in the hi-tech zone, including telecommunications, software, Internet technologies and medical equipment enterprises.
A number of favorable policies will be implemented to encourage the development and growth of these enterprises.
