Supreme Procuratorate Alarms Party Members Against Corruption

Members of the Communist Party of China in procurators' offices, especially leading cadres, will be educated about the spirit, work style and discipline of the Party.

According to a notice issued by China's Supreme Procuratorate, the education should last half a month in the third quarter of this year and major corruption cases involving senior officials such as Hu Changqing or Cheng Kejie should be used as materials.

It urged all Party members in the procuratorial sector to learn a lesson from Cheng and Hu's cases by analyzing under what conditions and how they started to travel down the road of illegality.

The education is required to be combined with violations of laws and rules of official conducts committed by some procurators in recent years, said the notice.
