Problem of Taiwan Is an Internal Affair of China, Says Ranariddh

The problem of Taiwan is an internal affair of China, says Norodom Ranarriddh, president of the National Assembly, Monday afternoon in Phnom Penh.

Meeting the visiting Yunnan Provincial People's Congress delegation, Ranarriddh pledged that the National Assembly of Cambodia firmly sticks to "One China" policy. He is very pleased with the achievements made by China, he added.

He also expressed thanks to the Chinese government and people for their concerns about the health of King Norodom Sihanouk. For the Cambodian people the health of the King is very important, he added.

The delegation, headed by Chairman of the Yunnan Provincial People's Congress Yin Jun, arrived here Sunday for an official visit at the invitation of the National Assembly of Cambodia.
