Traveling on Yellow River Launched

Northwest China's Shaanxi Province has started a tourism program which enables tourist to travel some picturesque sections of the Yellow River, China's second longest river.

The 64-kilometer route, which connects Longmen with the Hukou Waterfall and traverses an area of gorges, features fantastic scenes such as Gezi (dove) Temple, suspended cliff, a natural stone town, Lotus Cave, and other natural landscapes.

The Yellow River Harbor Affairs Company of Hancheng City has put two hovercrafts into service. The company also plans to buy a large vessel to accommodate the increasing amount of tourists.
