Suzhou, a scenic city in east China's Jiangsu Province, has attracted more foreign investments in developing local economy.
Statistics show that by the end of July, the city has approved 7,306 overseas-funded enterprises, involving a contracted investment of 33.93 billion U.S. dollars.
Seventy-five out of the world's top 500 industrial corporations have invested in 163 projects in the city, and 15 of the 75 investors have set up their own research and development organs in this east China city.
