Nutritional Value Improved in Chinese Army

China has recently implemented a revised food criterion for its army, paying more attention to the nutritional value of food.

The new standard increased the food varieties from ten to 14, with beef, mutton, bean products, kelp and beverage added to the list.

The criterion requires that each corp should have a qualified chef. Eighty percent of the corps already have qualified chefs.
