Hunan Donates Cross-Country Vehicles to Tibet
Central China's Hunan Province Thursday donated 12 cross-country vehicles to the Tibet Autonomous Region to support local economic development.
A 20-member delegation headed by Hunan provincial governor Chu Bo arrived in Tibet's capital of Lhasa on Wednesday to attend the donation ceremony.
It was reported that so far 101 cadres from Hunan Province have been sent to work in Tibet over the past years.
Hunan also granted 100 million yuan in aid to Tibet to help sponsor 122 construction projects in the areas of transportation, public health and education.
