CRFCPD Beijing-based Members Meet
Beijing-based members of the China-Russia Friendship Committee for Peace and Development (CRFCPD) met Thursday, pledging continuous efforts to deepen mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
The members exchanged views on the role of the committee, and unanimously agreed that it can do a lot to further consolidate and expand the social basis for the strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Russia.
The members considered the support pledged by the heads of the two states in the recently issued Beijing Declaration as an encouragement, and vowed to continue promoting bilateral cooperation at all levels, especially in the economy and trade, and scientific and technological sectors.
Established in April 1996, the committee takes it as its aim to reinforce the social foundation for good-neighborliness and for deepening the mutual understanding and traditional friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
