First Export Software Processing Park Opened in Ningbo
The first export-orientated software processing park-Ningbo International Software Park was opened on August 8 in Ningbo, China.
With an investment of 200 million yuan and covering an area of 150 mu, the park is the largest of its kind in Zhejiang province, which has integrated the processes of design, production, demonstration and marketing into one entity. The Tuopu Group, a famous software enterprise, is the first to enter the Park.
The Ningbo International Software Park is the one of the IT industry parks under construction in the Ningbo Tariff Bonded Zone. So far, three parks have been put up in it, namely, the International Electronic Information Industry Park, the International Semiconductor Photoelectric Industry Park and the Park for Returned Intellectuals from Overseas for Careers. They have attracted over 30 IT enterprises and by now a new development pattern for IT industry has largely come into being, thereby ensuring a balance in the software and hardware production.
