Chinese National Team Takes on NBA Legends
The NBA Legends team led by retired NBA superstar Clyde Drexler arrived in Beijing on the evening of August 7. They will play three games against China's national men's basketball team in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai to prepare for the 2000 Olympics.
Last year, the Chinese national team beat the NBA Legends team. This time, the NBA Legends team will try to avenge their loss and save their reputation. However, the head coach of the Chinese national team says that as long as the team is healthy, they are not afraid of their opponents.
One of the matches will be held in Beijing on August 11. After the game, there will be award ceremony for the winners, the MVP and sportsmanship. The organizers of the event have also brought cheerleaders from the US to perform.
The Chinese national team and NBA Legends will play in Guangzhou and Shanghai on August 14 and 17 respectively.
