Taiwan Investment Increases in Anhui
Taiwan investment flowing to east China's Anhui Province increased by 46 percent in the first half of the year on an annual base.
In the first six months 22 new Taiwan-funded projects were approved in the province in the first six months, bringing in 73.54 million US dollars, up 22 percent.
Meanwhile, 3.34 million US dollars of added investment were also in place for other operational Taiwan-funded projects.
Although the investment is still centered on manufacturing projects, there are signs that the investors will involve in new and high technology industries. Some Taiwan investors have set up companies producing integrated circuits, Internet related products, semi-conductors and computer chips in Anhui.
