Changchun to Hold International Education Exhibition

The preparation for the upcoming 2000 Changchun International Education Exhibition to be held on September 7 in Changchun, capital city of Jilin Province, is being actively carried out. So far, more than 200 domestic and foreign colleges and educational institutions have expressed their intention to attend the exhibition.

According to the organizing committee the city scored a great success in such exhibition last year. More than 150, 000 people went to the exhibition for visit and consultation. This year the city has given it a big publicity, and so far, it has attracted some colleges from Britain, Canada, Japan, Thailand, Australia, France and some other overseas colleges and educational institutions, numbering 168 to the exhibition.

In addition, Jilin University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Wuhan University, totaling some 40 odd universities at home, and American INTEL company, Japan's NTT company, Beijing Oriental Electronic Co., as well as China Greatwall Computer Group and other 23 multi-media computer manufactures and software producers have expressed their wishes to take part in the exhibition.
