Applied Sci-tech to Be Highlighted at China High-Tech Fair

The second China High-Tech Fair, which is scheduled to be held in Shenzhen in south China's Guangdong Province in October, will highlight scientific and technological applications.

A spokesman with the organizing committee of the fair said that they would try a range of new measures and improve services so that scientific and technological applications would be valued at

the fair.

Efforts will also be made to increase communication among project owners, investors and financial organizations at the fair, said the spokesman.

In the meantime, Shenzhen Trading Center of High-Tech Findings will also work with a local auction company to hold an auction during the China High-Tech Fair.

The auction will be the largest auctioning event of intangible assets, said the auction organizer, adding they have so far received more than 40 high-tech items of achievement for auction and some 100 investing organizations, mutual fund management organizations, listed companies and securities brokerage companies have shown interest to participate in the procurement.

Investors from the United States said they would form a special delegation to compete at the auction, said the auction organizer.
