China's First Internet Cultural Festival to Open

The First China Internet Cultural Festival is to be held on August 28-December 28, to create greater public awareness about the booming Internet.

The festival will run for four months and be sponsored by four local organization, according to the organizer.

With the approval by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Information Industry, it will become an annual event.

The Festival will include a series of on-line art and cultural activities as well as exhibitions on e-business in China, and a quiz on Internet application.
