Datong Coalmine Group Established
Datong Coalmine Group Com. Ltd. was recently established. It was set up on the basis of former Datong Administration of Mine Industry (DAMI) of Shanxi, the biggest one in China.
DAMI was founded in 1949, the biggest modernized coal enterprise at present, and also the only one with its coal production reaching more than 30 million tons annually. The restructured Datong Coalmine Group will develop its deep processing industry in coal production so as to realize transformation of the coal in local areas according to the actual conditions while keep the coal production as its main business. At the same time, services for production in the mining area, commerce and catering business, tourism and services for wellbeing of the people will see a big growth too.
