Advertising Companies Run to Over 60 Thousand
News from State Administration for Industry and Commerce, advertising industry saw a stable increase in the first half of this year.
Statistics pointed to 64472 advertising units by the end of June, a 9.9% increase over the same period of last year; of which, professional ad firms came to 36286, a growth of 14.24%. People engaging in ad business numbered 555.808 thousand, an increase of 1.5% over the last year. As for the total ad income it amounted to 28.223 billion yuan, a rise by 12.25%.
