Yinchuan Hosts Folk Song Contest
The second Western China Folk Song Contest opened last weekend in Yinchuan, the capital of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous region, according to report of China Radio International.
The event has over seventy contestants from nine provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in the western part of the country.
The five-day contest aims to enhance exchanges among the western provinces and promote folk art in the region.
