Boeing New Airliner Arrives In Beijing

Boeing's newest airplane 767-400ER arrived at the Beijing Capital International Airport Monday and carried out flight demonstrations.

The fuselage of twin-aisle 767-400ER is about 201 feet (61 meters), 21 feet (six meters) longer than the 767-300ER. It can accommodate 245 to 375 passengers with a maximum a fly a distance of 10,460 kilometers.

The plane boasts innovation in airfoils and structural design and has spacious, comfortable seating.

The plane began its round-the-world tour after leaving Seattle on July 10. Before arriving at Beijing, it stopped and made flight demonstrations in Urumqi, capital of northwest China's Xinjiang Autonomous Region, and Haikou, capital of south China's Hainan Province and Shanghai.

The plane will later fly to other countries in the next few days.
