China to Have Its Own Air Force One

China will soon have its own "Air Force One", a special plane for the country's head of state.

According to a reliable government source, China is expected to the the third country, following the US and Japan, to have its own Air Force One.

The Beijing Youth Daily reports that a Boeing 767-300ER has been bought for the purpose.

China's Air Force Once, a Boeing 767-300ER, is one of the most advanced model of the Beoing 767 family, said a source with the China's Air Supply Import and Export Corporation.

Air Force One, the special plane for the head of state and initiated by the United States president in 1959, has got worldwide recognition.

Usually, Air Force One is equited with the most advanced hi-tech facilities including surveilance system to avoid missle attack, guard against interception of enemy fighters, and special data transmission system.

The China Air Supply Import & Export Corporation, the Chinese United Airlines have reached an agreement with an American Airline lately on the purchasing of the Boeing 767-300ER plane, the source said.

The plane, its cabin to be upgraded to VIP status, will be mainly used by China's top leader for domestic flight, the source said.

The Boeing 767-300ER has the most sophisticated fuselage and wings, and is equipped with a powerful engine capable of flying 11,393 kilometres mileage.
