A two-month minority Art and Lantern Show opened Sunday evening in Lhasa, capital of southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region.
This is the first lantern show ever held in Lhasa. There will be numerous lanterns on display including lanterns made in the shape of Tibetan antelopes and wild yaks.
The first Lhasa beer festival, an exhibition of Tibetan dresses and ornaments, performances of Tibetan music and folk art will also be staged during the next two months.
