Life Insurance Provided For Free in Mianyang
Representatives of an insurance company and the organization committee of the Fourth National Farmers' Games signed an agreement to provide free life insurance for the participants in the event.
According to the agreement, China Life Insurance Company Mianyang Branch will provide life insurance worth between 10,000 yuan (1,200 US dollars) and 100,000 yuan (12,000 US dollars) per unit to the athletes, referees, coaches, officials, VIPs, staff members and audience attending the opening and closing ceremonies.
Being the exclusive independent insurance acceptor, Mianyang Branch has set up a corresponding department to facilitate the insurance affairs. It will compensate once insurance accidents occur in accord with the principles of initiative, promptness, accuracy and what is reasonable, a company source said.
