Guangdong to Host Int'l Cloth Expo
An international cloth Exposition will be held in Nanhai City in south China's Guangdong Province from October 11 to 13.
The exposition will display decorative cloth, curtain cloth, window screening, rag materials and pajamas.
The exposition is sponsored by the China Association for the Promotion of International Trade, the China Association of Household Textile Industry, and the China Textile Information Center. Foreign exhibitors are mainly from southeast Asia, Japan, Singapore and Britain.
Xiqiao of Nanhai is widely known as one of China's textile production centers, which has the largest decorative cloth wholesale market in China. Its annual turnover from cloth transactions amounts to 8 billion yuan (963 million US dollars).
