King of Cambodia Leaves for Beijing
King of Norodom Sihanouk left Phnom Penh for Beijing Sunday morning for a regular medical check-up by an airplane of Airbus-320 from the China Southern Airlines.
He originally scheduled his flight to China Tuesday, but he canceled the trip because the plane of the Royal Air-Cambodge he was about to board began leaking fuel shortly before taking off.
Many senior officials, including Prime Minister Hun Sen and foreign diplomats saw the King off at the Pochendong International Airport.
