On behalf of the Ministry of Education, the Chinese embassy in Cameroon turned over Yaounde Microorganism Laboratory on the campus of the city's No.1 University to the Cameroon government Monday.

Yaounde Microorganism Laboratory is a 9-year cooperative project undertaken by Zhejiang University in helping developing higher education in Cameroon. Operating with a full array of advanced equipment, the laboratory has turned out many technical experts to have greatly pushed Cameroon's research in basic sciences and applied technology.
