On-line College Education Attracts High-school Graduates

On-line college education has aroused a lot of interest among high-school graduates in Shanghai.

On-line education is a combination of distance education, Internet teaching and classroom courses. Fudan University and Jiaotong University of Shanghai will launch on-line courses this autumn, enrolling 150 and 200 students.

Wang Song, who graduated from high-school this year said, "on-line college education makes it possible to study anytime. I would like to become an on-line college student."

Ye Quyuan, deputy-president of Jiaotong University, said on-line education will not only let more students get higher education, but will also push forward educational reform in China.
